Three key elements form the basis of our production: the creative use of the finest, most distinctive materials, great attention to detail and skilful hand workmanship.

One of the more original materials used in our collection is real fish skin leather. This type of leather is a younger and more price accessible version of crocodile which has not yet been commercialized by other designer brands. Moreover, the fish skins we use are far superior in thickness, durability and wear in comparison to almost all snake skins including python. In using exotic leathers such as fish skin, as well as only the finest Italian and French materials, we aim to offer ‘out-of-the-ordinary’ luxurious shoes with contemporary refinement.

We at Gwendolyn Carrié understand that our shoes might not suit everyone’s wardrobe. However, we are very focused in creating shoes for women who are fashion conscious but not led by fashion. Our signature fish skin, particularly in its fluffy form, echoes the confidence of an independent woman.
